An RNC staffer in his early 20s spoke out against false post-election fundraising solicitations, the House committee found. The staffer, Alex Katz, asked why the Trump campaign said the vote counting should continue in some states, such as Arizona, but cease in others, such as Georgia and Michigan.
Katz also refused to write a fundraising email declaring that Trump had won Pennsylvania before a winner in the state had been declared, he told the committee. Katz was fired three weeks after the election, according to the report.
