Ga. grand jury finds no widespread fraud despite Trump’s claims

Today, a report by a Georgia grand jury was released that concluded there was no widespread fraud in the state during the 2020 presidential election despite repeated claims to the contrary by former president Donald Trump. The report said that a majority of the grand jury believes that perjury may have been committed by at least one of the witnesses it heard as part of an investigation into efforts by Trump and his allies to overturn Trump’s election loss to Joe Biden. Most of the report was kept under seal as Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis weighs criminal charges in the matter.

In Washington, President Biden plans to speak publicly Thursday on the Chinese surveillance balloon and three other objects recently downed by the military. He returned to White House early Thursday afternoon after a trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., for an annual physical exam.
