Voters in New York’s 3rd Congressional District are headed to the polls Tuesday for a special election to pick a replacement for former congressman George Santos (R-N.Y.), who was ousted by the House in December. The Republican candidate is Mazi Pilip, a Nassau County legislator. The Democratic candidate is Tom Suozzi, a former member of Congress.
