Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden, took the witness stand Thursday in Hunter Biden’s federal trial to describe her volatile relationship with her former brother-in-law, their drug use together and how she found the gun at the heart of the case. She told jurors she was embarrassed and ashamed about her actions in the dark months and years after her husband’s death from brain cancer, including using crack cocaine with Hunter Biden as they became lovers.
