President Biden arrived in France on Wednesday for an election-year visit. In coming days, he plans to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day in World War II and deliver a high-profile speech on democracy in which aides say Biden plans to cast former president Donald Trump as a would-be authoritarian. Biden’s trip also includes a state visit with French President Emmanuel Macron.
