On Wednesday evening, the Senate passed a bill that will keep the government open until mid-January. The bill will fund some government departments until mid-January and the rest through early February. The bill does not include spending cuts or policy changes that Republican hard-liners sought.

The bill originated in the House, where Republicans and Democrats reached a deal on this continuing resolution Tuesday afternoon.

Explore how your senator voted on keeping the government open.
